When wet, the sponge softens and becomes pliable — ideal for gentle washing up, wiping surfaces, and everyday cleaning tasks where you don’t want to risk scratching. When dry (or used with less water), the texture firms up, giving you extra scrubbing power to tackle baked-on grease, burnt-on food, and stubborn stains that a soft sponge simply can’t shift. One sponge, two cleaning modes — no need to keep separate sponges for different tasks.

Perfect For

Everyday washing up – plates, bowls, glasses, and cutlery

Scrubbing baked-on curry, sauce, and food residue from pots and pans

Cleaning hobs, sinks, and kitchen surfaces

Removing stubborn marks from bathroom tiles and surfaces

Cleaning non-stick cookware (non scratch – safe on most non-stick surfaces)

General kitchen and household scrubbing tasks

How to Use

For gentle cleaning: Wet the sponge thoroughly – it will soften for gentle, everyday cleaning

For tough scrubbing: Use with less water or allow to partially dry for firmer scrubbing action

Apply washing up liquid or cleaning product as normal and scrub as required

Rinse thoroughly after use and allow to dry

Replace when the sponge shows signs of wear

Important Information

Non scratch – but always test on a small hidden area first if unsure about surface suitability

Keep out of reach of children

Store in a dry place between uses to allow the sponge to dry fully

https://www.latifs.co.uk/products/elbow-grease-scrub-mate-soft-when-wet-hard-when-dry-non-scratch-flexible-sponge
Latifs.
