Shipping policy

At present, we offer delivery to Mainland UK addresses on all goods, except fireworks and larger goods. For security reasons, it may be stipulated that your shipping and billing address must be the same, before a transaction is authorised, or dispatched. We are unable to change delivery information once an order has been placed. Our couriers sometimes place restrictions on locations that they can deliver to and the guaranteed timeliness of delivery. We will inform you if you are affected by these restrictions. Delivery may be made in a 'safe place' or to a neighbour; you accept this as a suitable delivery arrangement and agree to receive your order in this way.

Where possible, we aim to dispatch orders within 1 working day of receipt of cleared payment. You will receive a notification, when this is done. We are unable to alter / recall items, or otherwise relay any delivery requests to the courier. We do not currently offer alternative delivery options. Whilst every effort is made to dispatch orders within 1 working day of cleared payment, this is not guaranteed. We offer no guarantee as to the timeliness for delivery of orders. Due to the nature of an order, certain goods (eg long blinds and poles, special orders, fireworks) may be subject to specialist shipping charges & arrangements. Deliveries are to ground floor doorsteps, unless otherwise stated.

All local deliveries are pre-booked and require your confirmation. before being attempted. Local shipping fees are non-refundable. Certain deliveries may not be made to a 'safe place' or neighbour. A suitable adult must be at the delivery address to inspect and accept these orders. NB Fireworks require additional ID and security checks. If a delivery cannot be made (eg no one at address), a redelivery fee will be charged before another attempt can be arranged. A redelivery option may not be offered, at our discretion.

Fireworks deliveries are pre-booked and usually delivered within 10 days, with the exception of orders which include pre-orders. Fireworks shipping fees are non-refundable. We can only deliver to the billing address. The card holder must be present to receive the goods, with acceptable ID ready to present. If a delivery cannot be made (eg unacceptable ID, cardholder not present at address), a redelivery fee will be charged before another attempt can be arranged. A restocking fee (usually 10%) will be withheld from any fireworks refund. Your order may also be cancelled and the delivery fee will be withheld from any refund.

Your order will be combined in to the fewest number of shipments possible. This may therefore take longer to send, depending on product availability.

Shipments are usually made via Royal Mail or DPD (though occasionally we do use other couriers). These services are offered by the relevant companies - we are unable to offer weekend/timed services for any courier service.

As much as we’d like to sell outside of mainland UK, our site is only intended for use within it. When you order from us, you are confirming that you are: legally able to enter in to a binding contract, at least 18 years old, you are a resident of and accessing our site from mainland UK. It is a requirement that delivery is made to your billing address.

Holidays

Different shipment arrangements may be in place during holidays and busy periods (eg Christmas, Bank Holidays). Please contact us before placing an order, if uncertain.

Due to the nature of fireworks (explosive, hazardous age-restricted), specialist training, handling and delivery is required. Our specialist delivery team will be in touch with you directly to manage your order, from point of order through to delivery. Please ensure you provide an active phone number to allow this to be organised with you.

We are expanding our delivery network regularly, to allow our customers further afield to benefit from our deals.

Collection Policy

1. Click & Collect Orders

Customers selecting the Click & Collect option must ensure that all details provided at checkout, including full name and contact information, are accurate. Orders may only be collected by the cardholder, and a signature is required at the time of collection.


2. Collection Times

Orders will be available for collection solely during the store’s published opening hours. Your collection time must be selected via your shopping cart at the time of checkout.


3. Identification Requirements

A valid photo ID (e.g., driving licence, passport, or official ID card) together with the order confirmation email must be presented at the time of collection. We reserve the right to refuse collection where the name on the order does not match the ID, or where the information provided is incomplete, false, or inappropriate.


4. Collection Window

Orders must be collected within seven (7) days of placing your order, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Orders remaining uncollected beyond this period may be cancelled at our discretion.


5. Cancellations and Handling Fees

If an order, having been prepared or reserved for collection, is subsequently cancelled by the customer, or remains uncollected beyond the designated collection period, the Company reserves the right to deduct a handling and/or restocking fee of up to 10% of the order value from any refund due. Such fees are imposed solely to recover reasonable administrative, processing, and stock management costs incurred in relation to the preparation of the order.


6. Changes to Policy

We reserve the right to amend this policy at any time without prior notice. For the avoidance of doubt, the version of this policy published on the website at the time an order is placed shall apply to that order.
