Acrylic sealant (this product) is the right choice for dry interior areas — gaps around door frames, skirting boards, coving, and interior woodwork. Silicone sealant is better suited to wet areas such as bathrooms, kitchens, and anywhere that gets regularly wet — it’s fully waterproof and mould resistant but cannot be painted over.
